Bulldogs Conclude Weekend at Sacramento State

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's soccer team finished the weekend with a non-conference match up against Sacramento State. The Bulldogs held the game to a 0-0 tie through the first half before the Hornets pulled away with the win, 2-0. The Bulldogs have an overall record of 4-5.
In the first half of play, the `Dogs recorded four shots. Goalkeeper Kaitlyn Revel had two saves.
Entering the half time break, the Bulldogs and Hornets were tied 0-0.
In the 62nd minute, Sacramento State's Leah Larot scored her sixth goal of the season giving the Hornets the lead 1-0.
The Hornets added another goal in the 73rd minute after Jordan Carlberg scored on a pass from Shea Roberts.
The Bulldogs finished the game with five shots and two shots on goal. Revel had three saves on the day.
Fresno State returns home Friday, Sept. 24 to host UCSB at 7 p.m. in Bulldog Stadium. Admission to all home games is free to all.
