FRESNO, Calif. - Head coach Jeanne Fleck announced the addition of three future Bulldogs to the swimming and diving program - Alex Madsen, Danielle Powers and Lindsay Ruiz.

Lindsay Ruiz and Danielle Powers signed National Letters of Intent to enroll at Fresno State for the 2012-13 academic year and play for the 'Dogs next season. Alex Madsen will join the team at semester and start competing immediately as a Bulldog.
"Lindsay comes from California Capitol which is a great program in Sacramento and will be a great addition to our backstroke and IM events," said Fleck. "I see great things from Lindsay."
Ruiz, from Roseville, Calif. swims with California Capital Aquatics, a premier USA Swimming Olympic development swim team in Northern California. Throughout her swimming career she has competed in the 2009 and 2010 Speedo Champions Series, 2010 Speedo SC Junior Nationals, and most recently the 2011 USA Swimming Junior Nationals.

"I choose Fresno State because of the great program they had to offer," Ruiz told collegeswimming.com. "The team has great chemistry and I can see myself there next year. The coaches had all the qualities I was looking for and more. I can't wait to be a Bulldog!"
