Yoho To Compete At USA Senior Nationals

FRESNO, Calif. - Dani Yoho is the fastest 50 Yard Freestyle swimmer in Fresno State history with a time of 23.04 and will compete Thursday, Dec. 1 at the USA Senior Nationals to attempt to qualify for the 2012 Olympic Trials.
The 2011 AT&T Winter National Championships will be held at the Georgia Tech Aquatics Center in Atlanta, Ga. from Dec. 1-3. The prelims start at 9 a.m. and the finals will begin no earlier than 6 p.m.
This is an Olympic year, so the swimmers will compete in the long course 50 Meter Freestyle event which will be held on Thursday, Dec. 1. The long course competition will allow participants an opportunity to achieve Olympic Trials qualifying standards.
In her third year at Fresno State, Yoho (Sugar Land, Texas) has improved each year with experience and speed. She most recently broke the Fresno State school record in the 50 Yard Freestyle by one-hundredth of a second, passing her previous career best and school record time of 23.05 set earlier in 2011. Yoho set the new school record at the Arena Invitational in Long Beach, Calif. on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011.
Yoho will return home Friday to join her teammates as they take on WAC rival, Idaho at home on Saturday, Dec. 3 at noon.
