Bulldogs finish second at Fresno State Invite

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State swim and dive team finished in second place with 820 points in the season opening invitational at the Fresno State Aquatics Center. Mackenzie Miller lung grabbed her second individual event win of the weekend in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:12.05.Â
How it happened
Fresno State touched for second place in the opening relay with a time of 3:45.50. Miller Lung and Jenna Pullkknen finished in the top five of the 100 IM with fourth (57.99) and fifth (58.21), respectively.Â
Miller Lung claimed her second individual event win of the meet in the 200 breaststroke. The senior finished with a time just 1.4 seconds off the Aquatic Center record with a 2:12.05. Aliz Kalmar touched for third with a time of 2:13.61.Â
Clare Luken hit a 2:03.97, good for second in the 200 butterfly. Fresno State closed out the invite with a third place finish in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:28.62.Â
