"Multiple competitions on the road can be tough," said head English coach Julia Scrivani. "We saw some great performances from some experienced riders on the team and all the ladies did an awesome job this weekend."
Three top returners for the Bulldogs earned MVP honors in their events today. Junior Kimberly Steinbuch received a score of 80 and the MVP award in Equitation on the Flat. Junior Holly Elsbernd jumped for a score of 78 and took the MVP honors for Equitation Over Fences. Sophomore Sydney Coletti slid to victory in the Reining competition with a score of 72.5 and took the MVP honors for that event.
"Sydney really showed off her natural talent in the arena today," said head Western coach Stephanie Reeves. "There were a lot of great rides on this trip. Shauna Woodward had her first traveling experience and I am very proud of her ride today as well."
"It was really great to go up against such a strong team and do so well," said Scrivani.
