"The girls had a decent day," said diving coach Taryn Patrick. "Stacey improved on her harder dives and was pretty consistent the entire meet. Hannah did really well and was in the hunt to make it in the top 18 and finals."
Prigge, a freshman from Rocklin, Calif., dove to score 235.15 points and a 28th place finish. Luke, a sophomore from Kenmore, Wash., placed 34th and scoring 226.40 points. This is the second consecutive year Stacey Luke qualified to compete at an NCAA Zone Meet.
Together the divers raised the standard set last season as they both represented Fresno State today at the NCAA competition.
"Overall, we had a decent day," said Patrick. "We just need to get a little stronger and sharper on our entries."
