Luke Dives into 1-meter Finals

FRESNO, Calif. - Stacey Luke dove in the finals of the 1-meter competition today, as she and her teammate Hannah Prigge competed in day two of the NCAA Zone E competition in Minneapolis, Minn. at the Minnesota Aquatics Complex.

"We had a better day today," said diving coach Taryn Patrick. "Stacey qualified for finals and stayed in 14th-place. She didn't miss a dive today. Hannah did well and as she grows she will be more consistent. With a little more experience she'll be right up there with the best. I am proud of both Bulldogs today!"
In the second day of competition Luke led the way by placing 14th in the preliminaries by scoring 253.55 points. Luke was a part of the top 18 that qualified for a finals round of 1-meter diving. Luke had another strong performance in the finals and held her 14th-place position.
The freshman competitor, Prigge, performed some strong dives in her first NCAA Zone competition. She scored 215.35 points for a 34th-place finish.
Both Prigge and Luke will continue battling tomorrow in Minneapolis as they will compete off the platform diving board.
