Fresno State Falls To High Point

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's lacrosse team wrapped up a three-game road trip Sunday with a 22-6 loss at High Point.
The Panthers jumped on the Bulldogs early, outscoring them 12-3 at the end of the first half. Their 22 goals were a season high. Sophomore Amanda Cross paced Fresno State (0-10) with two goals, while Briana Hetherington, Taylor Fiehler, Lauren Natale and Paula Badali also found the back of the net.
In addition to her one goal, Fiehler also had a ground ball and three draw controls.
High Point used a 9-0 first-half run to pull away. The Panthers (7-3) out-shot Fresno State 39-19 and produced 40 ground balls to the Bulldogs' 19.
