FRESNO, Calif. - No. 71 Fresno State women's tennis (6-12, 3-0 WAC) concluded their weekend trip to the bay area at the Hellman Tennis Complex in Berkeley, Calif. against No. 10 California. The Golden Bears defeated the Bulldogs, 6-1.
The Golden Bears took an early lead over the Bulldogs after earning the doubles point.
On court one in singles, Marianne Jodoin fell in her first set to No. 18 Mari Andersson but rallied back and played tough and went on to defeat Andersson, 5-7, 6-3, 1-0(8).
California earned victories on the rest of the courts.
Fresno State is back at home in the upcoming weekend, hosting San Jose State, Idaho and Cal Poly.
