Dogs Score Three Hoops Camps

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's basketball team will host their annual high flying basketball camp with the addition of two separate sessions of an All-Skills basketball camp this summer under the direction of new head coach Rodney Terry.
The annual basketball camp will take place in the Fresno State North Gym from Aug. 1-5, 2011 and the All-Skills camp will be held Aug. 8-11 in the Fresno State South Gymnasium.
This fun filled summer camp (Aug. 1-5) is open to 2nd-11th grade (7-16 years old) for $175 registration fee, with a $25 discount available when the application is received in a group of four or more. The camp will run Monday-Thursday (9 a.m. - 4p.m.) and Friday will be a half day wrapping up at noon.
The camp includes a t-shirt and basketball, autograph signing with Fresno State basketball coaches and players, camp awards presented at the conclusion of the camp on Friday, and a great summer experience the kids in the community will love.
The campers will learn from the instruction of the Fresno State coaching staff and players. Basic instruction of shooting, ball handling, and passing will be taught. The campers will also receive defensive instruction, they will participate in multiple competitions and games, and they will compete in league games within their age group and will have a fun time playing basketball with their friends.
The All-Skills camp (Aug. 8-11) will be held in two different sessions. The first is for ages K-6th grade, 9 a.m. -noon for a registration fee of $125. The second session is for ages 7th-12th grades, 1 p.m.-4 p.m. for a registration fee of $135. Each session offers a $5 sibling discount and also a group rate for 10+ campers.
