Tournament Delayed Due to Rain

FRESNO, Calif. - The Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational was postponed Monday due to standing water on the fairways and greens from over an inch of rain in a 12 hour period. Depending on the weather and the condition of the course, the tournament will attempt to begin Tuesday morning.
Because of the delay, Fresno State and only five other teams -- Washington, Washington State, Pepperdine, Gonzaga and Santa Clara -- will compete in the tournament, which will be shortened to 18 holes.
Play is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. PT, with teams teeing off from the first hole. Follow live scoring of the Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational at Golfstat.com and check gobulldogs.com for the recap of all the action.
