| Fresno State soccer junior Morgan Castain has been named the Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week. Castain led the Bulldogs in a 2-0 road victory over Wyoming by scoring both goals for the 'Dogs in the only game this weekend. It was Fresno State's first Mountain West road win. In 37 minutes of action, Castain netted a goal in each half on two shots for a 100% shooting percentage. The eventual game winner and Castain's first goal came from 30 yards out and the second came off of a rebound from the Wyoming goalkeeper in the second half. Castain's two goals are tied for the most in a single game by a player in the Mountain West. She moved her total for the season to four goals which ties her eighth in the conference.
