FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's lacrosse team is set to play their first Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game of the season on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. against San Diego State in San Diego.
After last Saturday's win versus Long Island University, the Bulldogs are 1-2 on the season and have the confidence they need to build off of the programs first win.
San Diego State is 2-5 in their first season as a program playing all home games with the exception of one in Palo Alto, Calif versus Ohio State. Meris Walsh leads the Aztecs offense with 23 goals on the season and 53 shots.
Sophomores Kara Concheck and Briana Hetherington both lead the Bulldogs in scoring with six goals each. Goalkeeper Katie Wilbur has shown true leadership in the defense recording 33 saves this season.
The Bulldogs return home Thursday, March 22 versus Central Connecticut at 3:00 p.m. in Bulldog Stadium.
