Hetherington Named MPSF POW

FRESNO, Calif. - After beating Long Island University last weekend, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation named Briana Hetherington the MPSF Player of the Week, for the week of March 19-25.
Hetherington led the offense as the Bulldogs beat Long Island, 17-12 on Saturday, marking their first win in program history.
Hetherington scored four goals on five total shots, putting away a first-half hat trick, along with one draw control and one second-half goal. She also scored once with one draw control against New Hampshire off the bench last Wednesday.
Hetherington is the first Bulldog ever to win this award.
