Bulldogs Drop Game to Great Danes

ALBANY, N.Y.- In a tough match, the Fresno State lacrosse team came up short against Albany on Thursday afternoon, 21-3.
Junior midfielder Kara Concheck led the team with two goals and three draw controls. Marcy Levatino added a goal and two draw controls for the `Dogs.
In a defensive effort, Sara Weber caused two turnovers and had two groundballs for Fresno State. Ashley Phillips, Meghan Macaulay and Holly Cisneros also picked up two ground balls a piece.
Katie Wilbur and Lisa Barnaba split time as goalkeeper and combined for 13 saves.
The Bulldogs are 1-5 in their 2013 season and 1-3 in non-conference play.
The `Dogs have a five day break before playing No. 15/16 Stony Brook on March 26 at 4 p.m. PT. The team then plays Manhattan and Colombia before returning to California and playing Stanford on April 2 at 5 p.m. PT.
