Lacrosse Begins MPSF Play

FRESNO, Calif.- After returning from its East Coast trip, the Fresno State Lacrosse team kicks off its conference play with No. 13 Stanford on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
With six games left in 2013, Fresno State (2-7) feels prepared as they head into Mountain Pacific Sports Federation matches.
"The games we played on the East Coast will give us a competitive advantage going into MPSF play," said head coach Jessica Pausewang. "I am really looking forward to going into conference and making some moves."
Stanford (6-3) is coming off a 14-9 win over No. 19 James Madison, and is 1-0 in conference play this season.
After playing the Cardinal, the `Dogs return to Bulldog Stadium for Youth Day on Saturday at 1 p.m. when Fresno State will host MPSF foe San Diego State.
San Diego State is 2-1 in conference play, with wins over St. Mary's and Oregon. The Aztecs play Detroit and Ohio State before taking on the Bulldogs on Saturday.
It's Youth Day in Bulldog Stadium! Bring your kids to game early for pre-game face painting and Bulldog tattoos. There will also be a post-game autograph session with the team.
