'Dogs Drop Last Game of the Season

LOS ANGELES- The Fresno State lacrosse team wrapped up its season with a loss to conference opponent USC Saturday afternoon on McAlister Field, 19-1. In the first ever matchup of the two teams, the Trojans outshot the Bulldogs 29-7 for the win.
Kara Concheckwas the only Bulldog to score in the loss. Concheck finished the season with a team-high 22 goals and 28 points.
In a defensive effort, senior Vanessa Swalwell picked up a game-high two groundballs for Fresno State. Katie Wilburhad two saves in the first half of the game, finishing her year with a career-high 113 saves.
Marcy Levatinoadded one draw control on the day to conclude the year with a team-high 30 draw controls. Levatino finished the year with 18 goals and 24 points.
Under second year Head Coach Jessica Pausewang, the `Dogs concluded their 2013 season with a 2-13 record, and 0-8 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
