The early season dual with be a chance for the `Dogs to see yet another conference foe after facing San Jose State and Air Force two weeks ago at the Bulldog Invitational.
"It's going to be tough," Fresno State head coach Jeanne Fleck said. "It'll be a real challenge for us, but we've just got to take it event by event."
Fresno State returns to the pool after taking a weekend off following their second place finish at the Bulldog Invitational behind several strong individual performances.
Sophomore Esme Gullick, who swam two weeks ago with a sprained finger, was one of three Bulldogs to win individual events. She won the 200 Butterfly. Other individual winners were Brooke Rodriguez (100 Breaststroke) and Shelbie Holden (1-meter dive). The Fresno State 400 Freestyle Relay team was also victorious to give the `Dogs four event wins in their season opener.
"Going against these conference teams is only going to make us better," Fleck said. "It is really opening our freshman's eyes and giving us a chance to see where we are. I think we are getting confidence every meet and will continue to build on that."
Saturday's meet can also be seen live on the Mountain West Network.
