Seven Bulldogs Earn MPSF All-Academic Honors

WOODLAND, Calif- The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced on Friday morning that seven members of the Fresno State lacrosse team were selected to the 2014 All-Academic team for their achievements in the classroom.
Juniors Marcy Levatino and Holly Cisneros became two-time MPSF All-Academic honorees. Jordyn Frew, Sophia Aragon, Anjelica Fuccillo, Meganne Weissenfels and Meghan Macaulay were named to the All-Academic team for the first time in their collegiate careers.
Macaulay, was one of two MPSF lacrosse players on the list to obtain a 4.0 cumulative grade point average as an All-Academic selection.
To qualify for the distinction, the student-athletes needed to achieve a 3.0 or better cumulative GPA, be at least a sophomore academically, completed one full academic year at the institution prior to the season, and competed in 50 percent of the institution's competitions.
