Gulf Coast Showcase Brackets Set

FRESNO, Calif. --- With less than two months to go before the Fresno State men's basketball team tips off the 2014-15 season, the Bulldogs learned they will play Evansville on Nov. 24 at 11:30 a.m. PT in the 2014 Gulf Coast Showcase Quarterfinals.
All 12 games of the eight-team, three-day tournament will be played Nov. 24-26, at the Germain Arena in Southwest Florida. Fresno State will play three games during its trip to the Sunshine State with quarterfinal action beginning on Monday, Nov. 24, with the following match-ups:
2014 Gulf Coast Showcase - Quarterfinals
• 9 a.m. PT - Green Bay vs. East Carolina
• 11:30 a.m. PT - Fresno State vs. Evansville
• 3 p.m. PT - Florida Gulf Coast vs. Marist
• 5:30 p.m. PT - San Francisco vs. Hawai'i
Game times for Tuesday and Wednesday will be the same with semifinal games on Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. PT and 5:30 p.m. PT. The championship game will be on Nov. 26 and will tip at 5:30 p.m. PT. The consolation bracket contests will be played at the same time slots earlier in the day.
"Our group of guys have all been working extremely hard this off-season and we're really looking forward to this season," Fresno State head coach Rodney Terry said. "We're eager to build off last year's postseason run and have built our non-conference schedule to be ready for Mountain West play."
Individual session tickets for the Gulf Coast Showcase are now on sale at GermainArena.com or through Ticketmaster. Tickets start at $10 for general admission seating and up to $45 courtside for each two-game session. All-session passes are also available, starting at $70.
As part of the event, opening games will be played at home sites, including Fresno State's regular season home opener versus Bristol University on Nov. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Save Mart Center. This game will air on the Mountain West Network and 940 AM ESPN Radio.

Another Game Added to Television Schedule
In a television update, Fresno State's MW home game vs. Utah State on Jan. 7 has been added to the league's broadcast schedule with the game set to be broadcast on ROOT Sports Rocky Mountain and the Mountain West Network. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. PT.
