Huge $40,000 Student Giveaway This Week

FRESNO, Calif. --- This week, four Fresno State students will win $10,000 each toward tuition in a $40,000 giveaway at the Save Mart Center - the largest guaranteed student cash promotion in collegiate sports history.
There will be two $10,000 winners during Wednesday's men's basketball game versus Air Force and two more $10,000 winners at Friday's women's basketball game versus Boise State. Both games start at 7 p.m. PT and the entire promotion is being privately funded by a longtime Bulldog supporter.
"Our student section is so important to our program," Fresno State head men's basketball coach Rodney Terry said. "We play in some of the best basketball environments in the country every night in the Mountain West. Our guys feed off the energy that the students bring to the building and we can't wait to see them again in full force on Wednesday night! We really love their support!"
Every Fresno State student is eligible to win the $10,000 prizes and just has to attend either or both games to have a chance to be one of the four lucky $10,000 winners.
Each basketball game that Fresno State students went to in February added an extra entry into the pool and all students that go to Wednesday's men's basketball game will get an extra entry into the random drawing for winners at Friday's game.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for us to say thank you to our Fresno State students," Fresno State senior associate athletics director Paul Ladwig said. "Our students have been a big part of making the Save Mart Center a fun place to watch our teams play."
Fresno State students get free admission to all home men's basketball and women's basketball games and can bring one student guest for free.
