Fresno State has now won just five of the 17 meetings against Boise State played in Boise.
At the half, Fresno State trailed 28-19 and they are now 1-16 this season when trailing at halftime.
The Bulldogs will have a first round bye for next week's Mountain West Conference Tournament. They will open up the tournament with a quarterfinal round game on Thursday, March 12 at 8:30 p.m. inside the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Fresno State split the season series with the Broncos, who finished as the regular season as the conference champions and will be the No. 1 seed at the conference tournament next week.
James Webb III made a layup at the 19:05 mark in the first half for the first basket of the game and Boise State led the rest of the way.
