Schwanz Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

Junior Annemarie Schwanz ran her way into the all-time Fresno State record books for the third time in the last four weeks on Saturday, April 25, this time in the 800m. Schwanz recorded the second fastest women's 800 in school history with a 2:08.64 at Fresno State's Bulldog Invitational, hosted at Veteran's Memorial Stadium. It was her first time to run the 800 since her freshman year. Schwanz broke the school's fastest 5000m (16:23.63) time on April 3 and recorded the fastest 1500m (4:21.71) time on April 17.
