Fresno State (5-3) starts a two-game homestand when the Bulldogs host the Cal Poly Mustangs (5-4) on Saturday at 4 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast live on the Mountain West Network, 940 AM ESPN Radio and 1600 AM ESPN Deportes. Tickets are available starting at $15 for adults, and youth tickets are $5 with the purchase of an adult ticket. It's Junior Bulldog Kids Club Day with special kids events on the concourse.

The Cal Poly Mustangs (Big West Conference) are 5-4 on the season, with wins in its last two games when hosting UTSA (59-47) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (82-70). Cal Poly is led by Kyle Toth (12.4 ppg), who currently ranks eighth in the nation in 3-point shooting (29-for-53, 54.7 percent). Fresno State leads the all-time series with Cal Poly 30-8 with wins in 16 of the last 18 meetings. However, the Bulldogs lost 77-65 to the Mustangs in last year's meeting inside Mott Gym in San Luis Obispo.

Taylor is currently fifth (26-for-46, 56.5 percent) and Toth is eighth (29-for-53, 54.7 percent) in 3-point field goal percentage. Neither Taylor or Toth played in last year's contest as Taylor was sitting out as a mid-year Division I transfer from Washington (and only played the second half of the season) and Toth utilized his redshirt year in between his junior and senior seasons.
Fresno State nearly upsets Big East's Marquette
Fresno State had its three-game win streak snapped in losing 84-81 on the road to the Marquette Golden Eagles on Tuesday night in Milwaukee. Fresno State feverishly fought back from a 22-point first-half deficit and pulled within 78-76 on senior guard/forward Paul Watson's 3-pointer with 39 seconds remaining in the second half. The Bulldogs' comeback bid ran out of time as the Golden Eagles went 6-for-8 at the free throw in the final 36 seconds to close out the narrow victory. Fresno State junior center Terrell Carter II scored a career-high 21 points, with 15 of his 21 points coming in the second half. Carter converted 71.4 percent of his field goal attempts (10-for-14), and also had four rebounds and two assists.

He has 1,094 career points to rank 27th on the program's all-time scoring list and currently sits nine points away from tying Charles Bailey (1972-74) for 26th (1,103 career points).
