Bulldogs look to rally on east coast

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's lacrosse team looks to bounce back this weekend after two-straight losses following a season-opening victory against Stetson. The Bulldogs travel to the east coast to face Presbyterian on Friday at noon PT and Campbell on Sunday at 8 a.m. PT on their first road trip of the season.

About the Blue Hose (1-1, 0-0 Big South)
Presbyterian opened its season with a 20-11 win over Delaware State, but dropped its game against Cincinnati last Sunday 17-6. The Blue Hose lead the nation with 36 ground balls per game and are second in the country with 16 caused turnovers per game. Last season, Presbyterian finished with a 3-14 record, including 0-7 in the Big South.
Sophomore Lauren Schaff leads Presbyterian with seven goals on the season, while sophomore Claire Frase and freshman Cady Roberts have five each. Roberts leads the team with two assists.
About the Camels (0-2, 0-0 Big South)
Campbell struggled at No. 4 Duke in its season-opener, falling 20-4, and Old Dominion squeezed by the Camels with a 12-11 victory off a goal with eight seconds left in the game last Saturday. Campbell is coming off a 5-13 season last year and finished 2-5 in the Big South.
Senior Loren Day leads the Camels with five goals on 15 shots and senior Erica Hitch has added four goals and two assists.
