Notes:
• Fresno State will not participate as a team as it will travel only three individuals to Colorado due to the conflicting schedule with the World Amateur Team Championships in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Gudrun Bjorgvinsdottir and Mimi Ho will represent their respective countries Sept. 14-17, and return to compete for the Bulldogs at the Johnnie Imes Invitational, Oct. 3-4.

• Fresno State is set to enter year four under head coach Emily Loftin.
• The Bulldogs will start their season at Colorado State's home-hosted tournament for the seventh consecutive season; it will be Spencer's third trip and Kim's second.
• Joanna Kim fired three-straight 6-over-par 78's at last year's Ptarmigan Ram Classic and finished tied for 64th; Samantha Spencer placed 88th.
• Six of the 16 teams participating at this week's tournament are Mountain West member schools.
• The Bulldogs finished third at the Mountain West Championships last season and concluded the season ranked No. 68 by Golfstat.
• As a freshman, Kristin Simonsen became the fifth Bulldog to make an individual appearance in the program's 12-year history; Fresno State has had an individual appearance in all three postseasons while head coach Emily Loftin has been at the helm.
• Of the three in action this week, Spencer competed in the most tournaments at eight, while Simonsen participated in seven and Kim played in six. Simonsen led that group with the top season scoring average at 73.84, followed by Kim (75.06) and Spencer (76.91).
• Weather at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic on Monday (High 76F, Low 48) is forecasted to have a 20 percent chance of rain and 10-15 mph east northeast winds; Tuesday (High 67F, Low 47) is forecasted to have a 20 percent chance of rain and 5-10 mph east southeast winds.
