The women’s golf team is set to tee up a busy week with the first of two tournaments, starting Monday; Fresno State will be in Missouri on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 3-4), and back in action Friday-Sunday (Oct. 7-9) in Colorado.

Notes:
• After missing the season opening tournament, Fresno State will feature Gudrun Bjorgvinsdottir and Mimi Ho, playing as the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, respectively. The pair missed the first event due to the World Amateur Team Championships in Rivera Maya, Mexico. Bjorgvinsdottir represented her home country of Iceland while Ho represented Hong Kong.
- Bjorgvinsdottir led Iceland with a 72-hole 12-over-par (79-76-69-76=300). Iceland finished T-43rd.
- Ho posted the No. 2 low score for Hong Kong, a 72-hole 18-over-par (78-74-76-78=306). Hong Kong finished T-34th.
• The Bulldogs teed off their season at the Colorado State Ptarmigan Ram Classic with three individuals representing the team: Joanna Kim, Kristin Simonsen and Samantha Spencer.
- Simonsen led the trio, tying for 33rd at 12-over-par (81-75-72=228). She vaulted from 59th to 33rd with a final round even-par 72.
- Kim (231) placed tied for 42nd while Spencer (241) was 79th.
• The Bulldogs will play at the Johnie Imes Invitational for the first time in the 12 year history of the program.
• The inaugural Johnie Imes Invitational was in 2007. The lowest team score in the history of the tournament is 201, posted by Mizzou in 2015 while the lowest individual score is 64, posted by Middle Tennessee State's Avery George in 2014.
• Weather at the Johnie Imes Invitational on Monday (High 80F, Low 59F) is forecasted to have a zero percent chance of rain and 5-10 mph winds; Tuesday (High 82F, Low 62F) is forecasted to have a zero percent chance of rain and 10-15 mph winds.
