FRESNO, Calif. --- The Fresno State men's basketball team will play 10 of its Mountain West games on CBS Sports Network or one of ESPN's family of networks during the 2016-17 regular season, the Mountain West office announced Thursday morning.
"We appreciate every opportunity to showcase our program and university to a national and international audience throughout the year," Fresno State head coach Rodney Terry said. "The Mountain West has some of the best teams and environments in the country. We look forward to seeing the Red Wave back at the Save Mart Center all season!"
Fresno State's Mountain West opener at New Mexico on Dec. 28 will be broadcast on either ESPNU or ESPN3, while the other four ESPN games have been designated for ESPN3.
Fresno State is set to appear on CBS Sports Network five times with three of those being road games (Jan. 21 at Nevada, Feb. 22 at San Diego State and Feb. 28 at Boise State) and two home games (Jan. 18 vs. Colorado State and Feb. 18 vs. New Mexico).
Fresno State will play on ROOT Sports once this season when the Bulldogs host Air Force on Feb. 1.
The rest of the Fresno State's home games during Mountain West play can all be watched on the Mountain West Network. Television information for other road contests will be released when available.
Select game times were also released Thursday and can be found at www.GoBulldogs.com on the Bulldogs' 2016-17 online men's basketball schedule.
The Bulldogs' non-conference schedule is still being finalized and the official release will be shared when available. Fresno State season ticket holders received a tentative home non-conference schedule as part of their renewal packets, but one or two games are currently still pending final approval.
Fresno State opens the season at home on Nov. 11 when the Bulldogs host the UTSA Roadrunners. Tip off is slated for 7 p.m. PT as the nightcap of a Fresno State Basketball doubleheader with the Fresno State women's basketball team hosting Biola at 5 p.m. PT.
Fresno State men's basketball season tickets are currently on sale at www.GoBulldogs.com, the Bulldog Ticket Office at the northeast corner of the Save Mart Center or by calling 559-278-DOGS. Season ticket packages start at $149.
