FRESNO, Calif.- Fresno State was defeated by UC Davis in a dual meet that came down to the last race on Senior Day, on Sunday afternoon in the Fresno State Aquatics Center.
"It was a great meet," said head coach Jeanne Fleck. "For our kids to swim back-to-back dual meets and swim as well as we did today and have it come down to the last event was huge for us. We swam faster than we did yesterday and I can't ask for more from this team. They gave it everything they had, but we just came up short. Our team today compared to the team we had before winter break are two completely different teams in the best way."
The Bulldogs celebrated eight seniors including Hailee Baldwin, Kali Conlon, Esme Gullick, Shelbie Holden, Hannah Jarvis, Tarryn Rennie, Rachel Rosenthal and Kelly Simmons.
