Fresno State heads east for a three-day tournament hosted by Kentucky, starting Friday
Update: Oct. 6 (9 a.m.): Due to inclement weather in the forecast for Sunday's final round, the tournament format will be changed to 36 holes on Saturday (shotgun start at 5:30 a.m. PT).

Notes:
• Starting Friday morning, the Bulldogs are set to tee off the third tournament of four this fall.
• The Bulldogs lineup will be the third different lineup in three fall events; this weekend's lineup will feature senior Samantha Spencer for the first time this season. The Bulldogs will also travel an individual for the first time this season, Kelsi Stieler, who will also compete for the first time this season.
• Consistent presences in Fresno State's lineup this fall are senior Mimi Ho, sophomore Hayden Mammen and freshman Brigitte Thibault – who have been in each of the three Bulldog lineups this season.
• Ho, who has been the 'Dogs top finisher in each of the first two tournaments, leads Fresno State with a 71.83 average score over six rounds.
• Of the Bulldogs three true freshman, Thibault is leading the way with a 72.33 scoring average over her first six rounds of golf. She also owns the lowest single round by any Bulldog this season, a 68.
• Despite Kentucky's tournament entering its 28th season, although its first since 2011, this will be the first time Fresno State has played it, in fact, it will be the first time Fresno State has competed in the state of Kentucky.
• Fresno State will be the sole representative from the Mountain West conference this weekend, and will be one of two schools from the Pacific time zone (Grand Canyon).
• Weather at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational on Friday (High 84F, Low 61F) is forecasted to have a 10 percent chance of rain and 5-10 winds; Saturday (High 84F, Low 67F) is forecasted to have a 30 percent chance of rain and 15-25 winds; Sunday (High 79F, Low 66F) is forecasted to have a 60 percent chance of rain and 5-10 winds.
UK Tournament Facts:
• Alabama holds the tournament record 54-hole score of 877 in 2007.
• Mallory Blackwelder, who was then a member of Florida before later transferring to UK, holds the individual 54-hole tournament record with a 212 in 2005.
• The 18-hole team record belongs to Florida and North Carolina. The two schools both fired a 288 in 2005.
• Courtney Harter of Alabama owns the lowest 18-hole individual score with a 67 in 2007.
