Fresno State heads to St. Mary's Invitational

FRESNO, Calif. — The Fresno State women's tennis team is back on the courts this week, competing in Moraga, Calif. at the Saint Mary's Invitational at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex Friday through Sunday, Oct. 6-8.
BULLDOGS IN THE FIELD
Fresno State will be taking three individuals to this weekend's tournament. 2016 Mountain West Freshman of the Year, Katerina Stloukalova, will see her first action of the season for the Bulldogs. Sophomore Abbey Watanabe and freshman Alessia Dario will be competing a week after opening their seasons in Berkeley, Calif. Stloukalova and Dario and placed in the "Singles A" draw, with Stloukalova earning the No. 3 seed. Watanabe is in the "Singles B" draw. Dario and Stloukalova will compete together in the "Doubles A" flight, Watanbe will be in the "Doubles B" flight.

The 12-team field that includes Fresno State, St. Mary's (host), San Francisco, Sonoma State, Eastern Washington, UC Davis, California, UC Santa Barbara, Sacramento State, Pacific, Santa Clara and San Jose State.
