Rain cancels thrilling match between 'Dogs and Gauchos

FRESNO, Calif. – During a lengthy dual match between Fresno State and UC Santa Barbara on Sunday at Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center, rain halted the contest at 3-3, eventually cancelling the contest. The dual match will not be made up and the result will not adjust either team's win-loss record. All completed matches will count toward individual records.

The match was called during the third set on Court 3 with Fresno State's Julianne Triebe leading UCSB's Jaimee Gilbertson 3-1.

Next up, the Bulldogs will head to Moraga, Calif., on Feb. 24 to face Saint Mary's. It will be the start of six straight road matches for Fresno State.
