‘Dogs fall at Saint Mary’s, 6-1

Fresno State travels to Washington this weekend to face Washington State and Eastern Washington.
MORAGA, Calif. – Fresno State dropped its third match of the season on Thursday, falling 6-1 to Saint Mary's at Timothy Korth Tennis Complex.
The Bulldogs lost the doubles point behind 6-2 and 6-3 results at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots respectively. Behind four straight-set wins, the Gaels clinched the match, and took a 5-0 lead, before freshman Ndindi Ndunda got the 'Dogs on the board. Ndunda topped Danielle McIntyre 10-8 in the 10-point third-set tiebreaker.
Fresno State will now head north to Pullman, Wash., to face Washington State on Saturday at 11 a.m. PT before playing Eastern Washington in Cheney, Wash., on Sunday at 10 a.m.
