Notes:
• Fresno State will play in its first match play event this week since Oct. 17-19, 2014 (Hoosier Fall Invite) … the 'Dogs went 2-1 in that event and finished in second place, falling in the championship match against Illinois.
• As a sophomore, Gudrun Bjorgvinsdottir won all three of her match play rounds at the Hoosier Fall Invite.
• Mimi Ho also competed in the match play event in 2014, the then-freshman went 1-2 in those matches.
• The Bulldogs are in the midst of three tournament in three weeks – SDSU March Mayhem is the second of three. After that run, Fresno State will have one more tournament in between the Mountain West Championships, April 17-19 at Mission Hills Country Club.
• Fresno State is one of four teams participating at the SDSU March Mayhem; there are nine MW women's golf programs.
• USC, the nation's No. 2 team according to Golfstat, will return to defend its 2016 SDSU March Mayhem crown.
• Weather at the SDSU March Mayhem on Monday (High 68F, Low 56F) is forecasted to have a 10 percent chance of rain and 5-10 mph winds; Tuesday (High 68F, Low 57F) is forecasted to have a 10 percent chance of rain and 5-10 mph winds; Wednesday (High 64F, Low 52F) is forecasted to have a 60 percent chance of rain and 10-15 mph winds.
