Wallace earns MPSF Rookie of the Week honors

FRESNO, Calif. -- Freshman attacker Tiffiny Wallace has been named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for games played April 3 through April 9, the MPSF announced Monday evening.
It is the first career MPSF weekly accolade for Wallace.
The Sandy, Utah native led the Bulldogs to a 1-1 week, defeating San Diego State for the first time in program history 17-12 Monday night. The freshman recorded a team-high six goals, six points, two ground balls and one draw control last week. Â Wallace had a hat trick in the win and in the game against UC Davis.
Wallace is the third Bulldog to receive a weekly honor from the conference this season.
Fresno State returns home for Senior Night against Cal on Friday, April 21 at 6 p.m. PT..
