Three 'Dogs named Second Team All-MPSF honorees

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's lacrosse team had three All-MPSF selections. Tiffiny Wallace, Sarah Bloise and Kyleigh Westgarth were all named Second Team All-MPSF honorees, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced Wednesday.
Three All-MPSF honorees is the most Fresno State has had in a single-season in program history.
Attacker Sarah Bloise led Fresno State in points (61), assists (22) and draw controls (52). Bloise finished the season ranked fifth in the MPSF in points, fourth in draw controls, fourth in assists and 11th in goals.

Bloise set new Fresno State program records this season for most assists in a single-season, most draw controls in a single-season and most points in a single-season. Her season-high seven goals against Saint Francis tied the program record for most goals in a single-game.
The Davis, Calif. native led Fresno State to its first win over San Diego State in program history with four goals, four assists, eight points, eight draw controls, three ground balls and one caused turnover.
This is the sophomore's first career All-MPSF accolade.

Wallace set new Fresno State program records this season for most goals in a single-season and most hat tricks in a single-season.
The Sandy, Utah native ended the season ranked No. 26 in the NCAA in total goals and No. 34 in goals per game.
The freshman was explosive offensively for the Bulldogs, scoring three or more goals in 11 games this season.Â
This is Wallace's first career All-MPSF accolade.
Defender Kyleigh Westgarth became the all-time draw control leader at Fresno State, after recording 45 draw controls this season.
Westgarth recorded season-high five draw controls in three games this season (Oregon, Mercer and Coastal Carolina).
The Carlsbad, Calif. native finished the season ranked ninth in the MPSF in draw controls.
When the senior was called upon to face guard this season, it reduced the goals of opponents significantly compared to their other games (Oregon, Saint Francis).
This is Westgarth's first career All-MPSF accolade.
As a team, the Bulldogs broke 25 program records this season.
The Fresno State women's lacrosse team had its most successful season in program history, finishing with a 9-7 record.
