HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lobos continued to stay hot, pushing their advantage up to 22-8 with 3:21 on the clock as they opened the game 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
Trailing by 12 heading into the second quarter, Fresno State made its move midway through the period as defense picked up and Aly Gamez scored four points and had blocked a shot in an 8-0 spurt to pull to 32-29 with 3:42 to play in the half. The Lobos took an 11-point lead into the break though as finished the final 2:22 on a 12-4 run.
