Justin Hutson, Fresno State head coach
Opening statement…
"Tonight, in that matchup zone, we wanted to make sure that we got the ball to Deshon so he could get into the paint and make good decisions because he was making good ones tonight. Our inside game was non-existent tonight. We got out-played on the inside and that cannot continue to happen if we want to be successful. We need to do a better job. The physicality of the game really went to Cal Poly."
Â
On Deshon Taylor…
"His confidence level and work ethic are important. His toughness of 'I am not going to let us lose'. Not only did he score 32 points tonight but he had six assists and two turnovers in 38 minutes while guarding the best player. There is a reason we have guys like this play in games like this and I think you could see why today."

On his free throw shooting…
"I try to come back in the gym at night and make at least 90 out of 100 free throws before I go home. I live at the free throw line so I know I have to make them. It is not that hard anymore."
