• Fresno State is set to tee off the spring season after winter break. The 'Dogs closed the fall season at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown on Oct. 22-24. Totaling 110 days in between tournaments.
• Fresno State was ranked No. 70 of 265 teams nationally in the final Golfstat.com poll of the 2017 fall season (Nov. 21).
• Fresno State's Mimi Ho was ranked No. 110 nationally in the final Golfstat.com poll of the 2017 fall season (Nov. 21). She was the only Bulldog ranked inside the Top 250.
• This year's trip to the Gold Rush marks the fourth consecutive season that the Bulldogs will have played at Long Beach State's annual event.
• Fresno State's top finish at Long Beach State's event is second, doing so both in 2015 and 2016.
• Fresno State finished ninth out of 14 teams last season.
• Of the Bulldogs in action this week, Mimi Ho and Samantha Spencer are the only two who played in the 2017 Gold Rush.
• Senior Mimi Ho and freshman Brigitte Thibault, who are No. 1 and No. 2 in the opening spring lineup, correspondingly own the top two scoring averages. In 12 rounds in the fall, Ho posted a 71.92 scoring average while Thibault posted a 74.17.
• Dominika Gradecka, a Jan. 2018 transfer from Florida State, will make her Fresno State debut competing as an individual.
• Weather at the Gold Rush on Monday (High 62F, Low 48F) is forecasted to have a 10 percent chance of rain and 10-15 winds; Tuesday (High 65F, Low 52F) is forecasted to have a 20 percent chance of rain and 5-10 winds.
