'Dogs travel CSU Bakersfield for WBI first round matchup

• Prior to their conference tournament, CSU Bakersfield lost their final two games of the regular-season games after rattling off eight straight wins.
• CSUB ranks No. 19 in the NCAA in scoring defense, allowing 55.9 points per game, and is No. 32 in field goal percentage defense at 36.6 percent.
• The Roadrunners rank No. 29 in offensive rebounds per game, corralling 15 per contest.
• Despite starting only 10 games on the year, and just one game in conference play, Aja Williams leads CSUB in scoring with 12.1 points per game. Starters Alexxus Gilbert (9.5 ppg) Jazmine Johnson (9.4 ppg) are not far off of Williams' pace.
• Jazmyne Bartee is the team's leader on the glass with 6.6 per game to go along with 6.4 points per contest.

Fresno State is returning to postseason basketball in 2018 and will make their 16th appearance all-time. The Bulldogs have made 13 appearances since 2003.

• The Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI) will be Fresno State's fourth different postseason tournament, joining the NCAA Tournament, Women's National Invitation Tournament and AIAW Championships.
