Alex Lee ties for seventh, collects fourth Top-10 finish of season

EUGENE, Ore. – Alex Lee came into Tuesday's final round at the Oregon Duck Invitational tied for fifth. After hovering around even par the entire day, Lee concluded the tournament with a 1-over-par 72, good for a tie of seventh place on the leaderboard. His performance notched him his fourth Top-10 finish of the 2017-18 season, with the Mountain West Championships on the horizon.

"Another solid performance by Alex on a really tough golf course," head coach Chad Spencer said. "He is really peaking at the right time of year. We've got one more event before conference and I hope to see continued growth out of our 2-5 guys."

Alex Lee capped his week with a 1-over-par 72 to finish at even par for the tournament. The junior shot 1-over-par on the back nine and even par on the front. Lee tallied two birdies and three bogeys on the day.

Lane Pulliam carded a 2-over-par 73 on Tuesday. The freshman sunk three birdies, including two en route to an even-par 37 on the back nine. Pulliam finished in a tie for 36th.

Justin Avery and Michael Cliff both finished with a 5-over-par 76. Avery tied for 59th while Cliff tied for 69th.

John Burke concluded his week with a 7-over-par 78 in the final round.

The Bulldogs will compete in the Loyola Marymount-hosted Geiberger Invitational at the PGA West Nicklaus Course in Palm Desert, Calif. on April 9-10. The tournament will serve as the team's final tune-up before the Mountain West Championships on April 20-22.
