Saturday's match will mark the 2018 Mountain West opener for both Fresno State and Nevada. The Bulldogs are 24-1 all-time against the Wolf Pack after winning last year's matchup, 5-2. Fresno State's last trip to Reno resulted in a 7-0 win for the 'Dogs on April 23, 2016.

Fresno State is 6-11 on the year after winning the second match in a row last week, a 4-3 win over Eastern Washington at home, the Bulldogs' second consecutive one-point win and third overall this season. Emma Wilson leads the team with 22 wins on the year (22-11), including a team-high nine during dual play (9-6). Juliane Triebe is right behind Wilson as the sophomore is 21-12 overall and 8-7 during the spring. Wilson is also part of the Bulldogs' No. 1 doubles team as her and Georgia Lawson are No. 37 in the latest ITA rankings (April 3). The two have compiled a 10-8 record overall with two wins coming against nationally-ranked teams.
Looking at Nevada:
The Wolf Pack are 6-5 on the year. Two of Nevada's five losses have come to opponents who the Bulldogs have defeated in Cal Poly and Santa Clara. Reigning Mountain West Player of the Year, Claudia Herrero, leads Nevada with a 16-11 overall record, and is 7-4 during the spring at the No. 1 position. Joined by Blaga Delic, the senior is part of the team's No. 1 doubles pair, owning an 11-3 record. The two are 8-2 during the spring.

Fresno State will remain on the road next weekend, traveling to San Jose State on April 13.
