Bergevin and Hobson earn MPSF All-Tournament honors

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's lacrosse team had two players selected to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Tournament Team. Seniors Abigail Bergevin and Lindsay Hobson were represented the Bulldogs on the All-Tournament team, marking Fresno State's first selections since 2009.
The All-Tournament team is made up of 12 players, based off of their performance in the 2018 MPSF Tournament. Morgan Taylor of San Diego State was named the 2018 MPSF Tournament MVP, after leading SDSU to its first MPSF Championship in program history.
#3 Fresno State fell to #2 SDSU in the semifinals of the tournament, falling just short of the 2018 MPSF Championship game.
Bergevin and Hobson led the Bulldogs on defense through the tournament. The duo combined for two ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers in the semifinals.
The Bulldogs closed the final on a 4-0 run, sparked from draw controls grabbed by Hobson and caused turnovers from Bergevin.
Bergevin and Hobson both served as 2018 Team Captains. Bergevin finished her senior season with three assists, three points, two draw controls, 22 caused turnovers and 27 ground balls. Hobson finished her senior season with four draw controls, six caused turnovers and 12 ground balls.
