FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's lacrosse program will host the Third Annual Lacrosse Legacy Dinner and Auction on Wednesday, May 16. The star-studded event honoring the 2018 Fresno State lacrosse seniors will be held at Copper River Country Club.
"Having strong community support behind our lacrosse team has made a world of difference," said head coach Jessica Giglio. "Since we have started our Lacrosse Legacy Fundraising Banquet we have had the first winning seasons in program history. The more invested in the program the Red Wave is, the more we are able to produce on the field and in the classroom; we thank you for your support."
The Lacrosse Legacy Dinner and Auction is an exciting fundraising event that supports the Fresno State lacrosse program, while honoring the student-athletes' achievements during the 2018 season. The evening begins at 6 p.m. PT with a cocktail hour and silent auction, followed by a dinner and live auction.
The live auctioneer for the evening will be George Takata. Takata is a former KSEE 24 Sunrise co-anchor, 940 ESPN Radio Host and a Fresno State Alumnus. The auction will include items such as exclusive Oakland Raiders and Central Coast Winery packages.
The Lacrosse Legacy Dinner and Auction helps provide new equipment, improvements to facilities and travel expenses.
Former Fresno State football standout and NFL alumnus Cameron Worrell, will serve as the master of ceremonies during the event.Â
The Lacrosse Legacy Awards Dinner will cost $65 per person or $1,000 per table. Guests are asked to R.S.V.P to Judy Lea at (559) 278-4112 or jalea@csufresno.edu.
