Inverness Collegiate Records

The 2016 Inverness Collegiate was won by Auburn after the Tigers shot a tournament record nine-under par 843 (280-281-282).
Lowest Single Round Team Score: 270 – Michigan (2016)
Lowest Single Round Individual Score: 64 – Matt Gilchrest, Auburn (2016)
Lowest 54-hole Individual Score: 209 – Nick Carlson, Michigan (2016) and Jake Shurman, Duke (2016)
Saint Mary's (Calif.) took home the title last year, edging out Michigan State by one stroke with a score of 10-under par, 580.

Notes:

Fresno State is set to enter its sixth season under head coach Chad Spencer.
The Bulldogs return six members of its 2017-18 squad, led by senior Alex Lee who finished tied for ninth at the Mountain West Championships and individually won the Geiberger Invitational a year ago.
Lee's individual win was the first by a Bulldog since Trevor Clayton won the State Fair Amateur Championship in 2015.
Lee was also the first 'Dog to compete in an NCAA Regional since Clayton in 2016.
Lee enters his senior campaign after leading the team across the board in stats last season, namely in scoring average (71.91) and sub-par rounds (19), placing him 11^th in sub-par rounds in a season in Fresno State history.
Overall, the roster is comprised of two seniors [Cody Riecks (RS ) and Alex Lee], three sophomores (Lane Pulliam, Kevin Huff and Michael Cliff) and four freshman [Griffin Cooper (RS), Tommy Stephenson, Tyler Gardner and Seldon Doyle].
Eight out of nine players are from California, with all coming from either the Greater Fresno or Sacramento areas.
This will be the 14th time the University of Toledo has hosted the Inverness Collegiate since its program's first season in '99-'00.
Fresno State has made three prior appearances at the Inverness Collegiate (2000, 2002 and 2017).
