Tournament Notes
The Palmetto Intercollegiate, which began in 1999, will be played for the sixth time in the history of the tournament at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort's Turtle Point course. Host College of Charleston is the defending tournament champions. CofC shot a then school-record, 6-under par 858 to win last year's title. Campbell was runner-up with an 869 (+5), Kansas third (+8), North Florida fourth (+21) and Charlotte and Wichita State tied for fifth (+29). College of Charleston's Victoria Huskey and Clarissa von Stosch, who both return to the Cougars' lineup this season, tied for individual medalist honors with Campbell's Emily Hawkins. All three carded a 4-under par 212.

Notes
- This is Fresno State's first-ever appearance at the Palmetto Intercollegiate Invite.
- The Bulldogs are coming off of a third place finish at the Johnie Imes Invitational. The 'Dogs shot two 1-over-par rounds as a team to lead them to their bronze finish.
- Junior Brigitte Thibault has been the constant low scorer for the 'Dogs this season, finishing sixth at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational and T6th at the Johnie Imes Invitational.
- Sophomore Harriet Lynch broke her way into the top 10 for the first time this season at the Johnie Imes Invitational. Lynch fired a 218 to finish tied for eighth the last time out.
- Lynch has seen four consecutive top 15 finishes.
- Freshman Jinyoung Yun fired her first round below par at the Johnie Imes Invitational - a 2-under-par 70 in the third round.
- Fresno State had three players finish in the top 15 their last time out.
- This is the largest field of play that the Bulldogs have been in this season.
- The weather is said to be low 80's with scattered thunderstorms throughout the tournament.
