"We are excited to get back in the pool and compete," said head coach Jeanne Fleck. "We haven't competed in two weeks. We got a lot of training in so we are excited to see what we can do in the pool on Saturday. Our divers had a good weekend at the Trojan Diving Invitational, so we know they'll be ready to compete on the boards for us."Â Â

Fresno State Team Notes:
- Fresno State owns a 0-1 record in dual meets this season.
- Fresno State is coming off a 179-102 loss to Nevada.
- The dual against Nevada was highlighted by freshman Athena Clayson finishing first in the 200 backstroke (2:03.43) and senior Irina Nikolaeva taking first place in the 1-meter with a score of 303.00.
- Fresno State had a third place finish at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational earlier this season, finishing ahead of Washington State, New Mexico and San Jose State. Â
- Fresno State finished the 2018-19 season with an overall record of 5-3.
- Fresno State finished 5th at the 2018 MW Championship.
