"This is an exciting weekend for us," head coach Jeanne Fleck said. "We are going to see a lot of teams that we haven't seen before. We are going to face some big competition. This invitational will be really good experience for our newer swimmers. We are excited to go to SMU, swim some fast times and get ready for the rest of our season."

Fresno State Team Notes:
- The Bulldogs are 2-1 this season.
- Fresno State is coming off a 2-0 week with wins over Fresno Pacific and Pacific.
- Fresno State sealed the victories last week by taking the top spot in 14 out of 16 events in pool, as well as the top spot on both boards.
- Fresno State has been led in the pool by senior Manuela Mendolicchio (breaststroke) and freshman Athena Clayson (freestyle). Clayson and Mendolicchio had three first place finishes apiece last week. Â
- Fresno State is led by Irina Nikolaeva and Yuliya Tykha on the boards. Nikolaeva owns a season-high score of 303.00 on the 1-Meter and 262.05 on the 3-Meter. Tykha owns a season-high score of 249.83 on the 1-Meter and 302.00 on the 3-Meter.
