Fresno State Athletics refreshes its brand
12/11/2019 12:00:00 PM | General
The new look is the result of on-going efforts aimed at modernizing the athletics brand, while creating consistency across all Bulldog sport programs and platforms. The refresh to the visual identity will help engage new audiences, improve retail offerings, and help further establish Fresno State Athletics as a nationally recognized brand.

Brand guidelines set forth include a deeper red (pantone 186) while maintaining the classic Fresno State navy (pantone 2767) for two bold contrasting colors. Official color variations within the Bulldogs' palette will also continue to include green (pantone 356) for the "Green V" that represents the Valley's robust agriculture industry.
Another distinctive addition will be the introduction of the "Bulldog Born" font as the primary font of Fresno State Athletics, replacing the block font used previously. An updated version of the historic Bulldogs script logo will continue to serve as an official complementary athletics mark.
As evidenced by some of the facility and digital graphics used this past fall, a slow rollout of the new and updated branding elements is already underway. Fans are encouraged to be on the lookout in the coming months as Fresno State Athletics will continue to phase in the refreshed look over time, slowly incorporating the colors, logo lockups, and fonts into uniforms, signage, website and social media channels, marketing materials and in officially licensed merchandise.
