FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State swimming and diving team won its third consecutive dual with a 192-104 victory over CSU Bakersfield in the Aquatics Center, Saturday afternoon.Â

The Bulldogs posted a convincing victory over the Roadrunners after taking the top spot in nine out of 14 swimming events, and taking first place on both boards.Â

Fresno State improves to 3-1 (0-1 MW) on the season.Â

SWIMMING HIGHLIGHTS:Â
- In the 200-yard medley relay, Fresno State placed in two of the top three spots, a first place finish (Moers, Mendolicchio, Harbert, Bowen) with a time of 1:45.80, and 3rd place (Cutler, Ridenour, Hutler, Guryeva) with a time of 1:49.34.Â
- In the 1000-yard freestyle, Darina Khisiamova took first place with a time of 10:13.07.Â
- In the 200-yard freestyle, Fresno State took two of the top three spots, with Megan Bowen in second place with a time of 1:53.66, and Emily Cutler in third place with a time of 1:56.57.Â
- In the 100-yard backstroke, the 'Dogs finished in two of the top three spots, in first place was Athena Clayson with a time of 56.44 and in third place was Anna Moers with a time of 59.67.Â
- In the 100-yard breaststroke, Fresno State swept the event with Manuela Mendolicchio in first place with a time of 1:04.42, Megan Ridenour in second place with a time of 1.05.79, and Lucy Davies in third with a time of 1:07.79.Â
- In the 200-yard butterfly, Fresno State took two of the top three, Kim Harbert in first place with a time of 2:04.74 and Mackenzie Hutler in 3rd place in with a time of 2:10.72.Â
- In the 50-yard freestyle, Fresno State finished two of the top three, in second place was Clayson with a time of 23.84 and in 3rd place was Tonya Guryeva with a time of 24.93.Â
- In the 100-yard freestyle, the 'Dogs placed in two of the top three spots, in second place was Bowen with a time of 52.51 and in third place was Tonya Guryeva with a time of 54.30.Â
- In the 200-yard backstroke, Fresno State swept the event, in first place was Clayson with a time of 2:03.51, in second place Marissa Johnson with a time of 2:07.94, and in third place Emily Cutler with a time of 2:09.05.Â
- In the 200-yard breaststroke, Fresno State placed in the top two, Manuela Mendolicchio took first place with a time of 2:17.79 and Lucy Davies in second place with a time of 2:22.41.Â
- In the 500-yard freestyle, Khisiamova took first place with a time of 5:00.29.Â
- In the 100-yard butterfly, the 'Dogs took two of the top three, in second place was Harbert with a time of 57.41 and in third place was Hutler with a time of 59.92.Â
- In the 200-yard IM, Fresno State placed two of the top three, Darina Khisiamova took first place with a time of 2:05.61 and Manuela Mendolicchio took third place with a time of 2:08.01.Â
- In the 400-yard freestyle relay, Fresno State took the top two spots, in first place (Clayson, Bowen Cutler, Harbert) with a time of 3:31.59 and in second place (Johnson, Guryeva, Gulvady, Brooks) with a time of 3:37.64.Â
DIVING HIGHLIGHTSÂ
- On the 1-meter, Yuliya Tykha took 1st place with a score of 278.25.Â
- In the 3-meter diving, Fresno State placed in the top two, with Irina Nikolaeva in first place with a score of 259.35 and Yuliya Tykha in second place with a score of 220.27.Â
